Taxi Show 2013 Highlights: “It was nice to meet you all!”

Those of you that read our previous blog will know that some of the insureTAXI team were in Manchester on 29th and 30th of May for the UK’s only Private Hire and Taxi Exhibition.
As a loyal participant of the Taxi Show, we have seen the event increase in popularity in last couple of years and attendance this time around was better than ever!
Hopefully, this is a sign that the taxi market is becoming more vibrant as we come to an end of a tough economic climate and consumers are gaining the confidence to spend more money on nights outs and other activities that require a taxi service.

It was nice to catch up with a lot of insureTAXI’s existing policy holders at the show and to introduce ourselves to new potential customers. If you left your details with us, you would have been entered into our free prize draw for the chance to win 50” SAMSUNG FULL widescreen TV!

Private Hire and Taxi Monthly Magazine also gave away a brand new Skoda Rapid as part of their own competition. The winner was announced by Coronation Street star Craig Charles who plays LLyod, the soaps owner of taxi firm ‘Street Cars.’ Khalid Perveaz, a private hire owner driver from City Link Taxi’s in Bristol, was selected at random to receive the vehicle.
Another unique touch this year was the dodgems which unsurprisingly proved popular with both stall holders and guests alike 🙂 More highlights are available in June’s Issue of Private Hire and Taxi Monthly Magazine.
